Our Youth Clinics are designed to build capable, confident young riders in a fun, supportive environment. These days focus on developing strong foundations on their horses while enjoying time in the saddle, learning new skills and having plenty of laughs along the way.

Alongside the riding, we include simple, age-appropriate conversations around mindset, managing emotions and building confidence. Riding can bring up nerves, frustration and excitement and learning how to recognise and manage those feelings is an important part of becoming a well-rounded rider.

We also place a strong emphasis on building a positive relationship with the horse. Kids learn about communication, consistency and care and begin to understand the connection between the effort they put in and the results they see, both in their riding and in their horse’s responses.

Sessions are structured but relaxed, allowing riders to progress at their own pace while being supported and appropriately challenged. Activities are tailored to suit the age and ability of the group, with safety, encouragement and enjoyment always front of mind. Basic horsemanship skills and fundamental dry work, followed by some activities around speed and controlling your horse into a safe and effective position, plus some time ont eh mechanical flag will fill our day in!

Suitable for a range of ages and disciplines. Numbers are limited to ensure quality coaching and individual attention. We ask that a primary caregiver remain on site for the duration of the clinic.

Cost is $200 per person incl GST. Price includes catering for participant PLUS one primary caregiver.
